Hello! I grew up in La Porte, Indiana, about 20 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park. Throughout my childhood, I enjoyed spending time outdoors with my adopted Great Pyrenees, Lucky, who played a large part in inspiring my journey into veterinary medicine. I attended IUPUI where I received a degree in Biology and completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Purdue University. During my time at Purdue, I expanded my veterinary experience by working as a zookeeper, lab animal researcher, and veterinary technician. I also developed a specific interest and passion for veterinary dentistry. I joined Lovet Arrow in July 2023, and am excited to get to know you and your furry friends! Working with every individual to tailor a plan that suits their lifestyle and animal’s needs is a vital and satisfying component of my career. I have two (canine) siblings that live at home in Indiana with my mom (Hi Otto and Ellie!). My only human sibling has also dedicated herself to saving animals by working to restore coral in the Florida Keys. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors via mountain biking, dirt biking, hiking, and scuba diving. I also enjoy reading, going to concerts, and playing basketball.

Jennifer Mayo

I was born and raised right here in Phoenix, AZ, and am a proud graduate of Arizona State University. After receiving my undergraduate degree in Biology, I attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. I’ve always had a passion for animals and have worked every position in an animal hospital. Professionally, I enjoy soft tissue surgery, preventative care, and learning new things. At home, I have an amazing husband, who has supported me all through undergrad and veterinary school. We have a beautiful adventurous toddler named Autumn, and a second on the way. Our fur babies include a senior whippet-lab mix named Lilith, and a pug named Scooter. In our free time, we enjoy taking our RZR off-roading and exploring. We love kayaking, camping, and hiking all around beautiful Arizona.
